YOLANDA OTERO DECEMBER 17, 1967 - MAY 16, 2015 After a long battle with breast cancer, our beloved mother, Yolanda Otero, 47, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. Yolanda is preceded in death by her father Mauricio Otero. She is survived by her mother Maria Teresa Otero; children, Roxanne Barajas, Robert John Barajas, Daisy Barajas; grandchildren, Marlene Marie Parra, Darlene Marie Parra, Samuel Rogelio Zamarripa, Jr., Carlos Alfredo Gomez, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Mauricio Otero, Jr., Maria Teresa Otero, Leticia (David) Barrera, Jorge (Martha) Otero; step-brother Mauricio Otero, Jr.; step-sisters, Ramona Otero, and Julieta Otero. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015 departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to San Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
