Miss Yolanda Gonzalez, 77, entered into the loving arms of her heavenly father on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at a local hospital surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Carlota Gonzalez; her sister Maria Luisa (Hector +) Pruneda; her brother Alfredo Gonzalez, Jr., and niece Estelita de Leon.

She is survived by her sisters, Minerva G. (Victor Hugo +) Vela, Virginia Garcia; and sister-in-law Estela Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 departing the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
