Yolanda V. Aldaco, 78, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
Yolanda dedicated 15 years of her life to shaping young minds as an educator in the UISD system, leaving a profound impact at Santa Maria Elementary School and Zaffirini Elementary School. Her passion for teaching extended beyond the classroom, as she was known to be a mother figure to her siblings and a pillar of strength in her family.
In her 55 years of marriage to her loving husband, Jose Luis Aldaco, Yolanda exemplified unwavering devotion and support. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter, where family always came first. Yolanda's nurturing spirit extended to caring for her mother and her own children, and grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her dedication to her family and career, Yolanda found joy in simple pleasures like shopping, gardening, and traveling the world. She embarked on adventures to Rome, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas, relishing every moment spent exploring new cultures and creating cherished memories with loved ones.
