VIRGINIA N. TREVIÑO

March 13, 1932 – April 8, 2025

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Virginia N. Treviño, who departed this life on April 8, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on March 13, 1932, Virginia was a beacon of light, love, and laughter in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her son, Rolando Gonzalez, and her cherished granddaughter, Brooke, who brought her extraordinary joy and pride. Virginia’s heart was as vast as her garden, where she nurtured not only her plants but also the souls of those around her with her generous spirit. She believed in hard work and dedication, often seen immersed in her job, where her commitment was unwavering and her desire to excel unyielding.

One of Virginia’s greatest joys was sharing moments of delight with her beloved boxer, Jack, as they indulged in ice cream while watching “Sabado Gigante.” Those simple pleasures reflected her zest for life and her ability to find joy in the everyday.

A devoted Baptist, Virginia’s faith was the foundation of her life. Her commitment to her church was unwavering, and her strong sense of belief guided her actions and interactions with others. She embodied the values of compassion and service, always the first to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need. Her giving nature and loving heart touched the lives of many in her community.

As we say our goodbyes, let us carry forth the spirit of Virginia—her unwavering faith, her hard work, her kindness, and her joyful laughter—which will forever resonate in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ines and Aurora Treviño; siblings, Elsa Treviño, Fidel Treviño, Mario Treviño, and Roberto Treviño.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Rolando (Patricia B.) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Brooke Gonzalez, Megan (Jon Farias) Smith, and Michael Smith as well other relatives, and friends.
