Virginia Gonzalez

On February 28, 2015, Virginia Morales Gonzalez danced through the gates of heaven with celebration in meeting our Lord Jesus Christ and reuniting with her beloved husband, Jesus Manuel Gonzalez Sr. Her husband, siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her greatest passion and delight throughout life. She prayed continuously for all those she loved allowing prayer and praise to the Lord to never leave her lips. She shined His light to others by her genuine and selfless love and compassion. She is survived by her brother, Estanislao Morales; her four children, Jesus Manuel (Nora) Gonzalez Jr., Sylvia Laura (Paulino) Landa Gonzalez, Sergio Rene (Lorena) Gonzalez, and Maribel (Bruce) Burks Gonzalez ; ten grandchildren, Nora Yvette (Adrian) Aguilar, Jesus Manuel Gonzalez III, Eduardo David Landa, Paul (Angela) Landa Jr., Jose Ramon (Michelle) Gonzalez, Ivan Rene (Amber) Gonzalez, Monica Lizzette (Paul) Silvas, Aaron Sergio Gonzalez, Andrea Mari Villarreal, and Tamika Raquel Gonzalez; and thirteen great grandchildren, Eduardo, Marcos, Daniel, Carolina, Michael, Phillip, Andrew, Zephyr, Vivian, Nathan, Arianna, Noah, and Sophia . Psalm 63: 3-4 "Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands." The family will receive condolences from 5 to 9, the evening of Friday the 6th of March 2015 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be offered at 7 p.m. The funeral procession will depart at 10:40 in the morning on Saturday the 7th of March 2015 to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
