Vilma Davila

Vilma Davila, 53, joined our Lord in paradise on Friday, December 05, 2014. She was born in Laredo, Texas to Manuel and Eva J. Ramirez. She was the insurance coordinator for UISD for 28 years. She leaves behind many great memories in the hearts and minds of those who knew her and especially those whose life she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Eva J. Ramirez; sisters, Ernestina R. Salinas, Evangelina Villarreal; brothers, Manuel Ramirez Jr., Reynaldo Ramirez, and Mario Ramirez. Vilma is survived by her husband, Arturo Davila; daughters, Chloe Davila, Ninfa (Ronald) Rousselle; siblings, Ana Maria Ramirez (Dee Dee Teniente) , Jose Angel (Josefina) Ramirez, Ricardo (Irma) Ramirez; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. A private cremation will be held at a later date.
