Velma Solis

Velma Lara Solis, 62, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 5, 2011.-Mrs. Velma L. Solis lived all her life in Laredo graduating from Martin High School.-She lived her life in the company of her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.-In those times of suffering and pain she never faltered, always having her unique faith by her side.

She was a very warm and caring person but also a trong lady.-She was always shoer her children and grandchildren to love and care for each other.-She had a passion for dancing and music and loved to spend time with her family and friends at Bingo games.-Velma L. Solis was a hard worker, doing crafts for all occasions by her own creative thinking.-She has left many memories of her hand work.-Her memory shall live forever in our hearts and minds.-We will miss you mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents:-Pablo Raul and Julia Lara; brothers, Jose Pablo Lara, Antonio Lara and Lauro Lara.

Velma is survived by her loving husband:-Emilio Candelario Solis; children, Christina L. (Edgar) Garcia, Ana Laura Solis, Emilio C. Solis, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacqueline Garcia, Edgar Garcia, Jr., Adrian Garcia, Isabella Garcia, Christopher R. Lerma, Carolina Mia Contreras; brother and sisters, Filberto Lara, Marie T. Caballero and Mauro Lara.
