Tomasa Texas

Tomasa H. Balderas, passed into eternal rest on August 2nd at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando Herrera and Maria Barron; her husband, Gilberto Balderas, Sr., and her three siblings, Juanita Baldomero, Maria Estevis and Ramon Herrera.

Tomasa was the beloved mother of Gilbert (Glenda E.) Balderas, Jr. and David Jesus (Maria Guadalupe …) Balderas, Sr., grandchildren; Gilbert Balderas III, David J. Balderas Jr., Ashley Caroline Balderas, Brian Jonathan Balderas, Jason Brandon Balderas, Rihanna Nicole Balderas, Jenelle Isabella Balderas and Jacob Jeremiah Balderas, and her sister Francisca (Johnny) M. Hinson.

A visitation will begin on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will commence at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart at 8:00 a.m. from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.

Interment will immediately follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
