Thomas Nelson

Thomas "Tommy" Alonso Nelson passed away on November 22, 2011. Mr. Nelson served his country in 1952 with the U.S. Navy. He was a Korean Veteran and was honored with the National Defense Service Medal and the China Service Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irby and Lou Delia Nelson.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Elida Nelson; children, David (Kim) Nelson, Theresa Williamson, Joe Albert Gomez, Armando Gomez, Alejandro Gomez; grandson, Alexander Dominic Gomez; brother, Willie Nelson; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A special thanks to Nurses on Wheels, Isabela Chavez, and a close friend George Murray.

Pallbearers will be: Joe Albert Gomez, Armando Gomez, Alejandro Gomez, Alexander Dominic Gomez, Abdiel Castillo, and Adrian Castillo.
