Sonia Ramirez

Sonia Lizette Ramirez, 28, entered peacefully into eternal rest Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born on May 23, 1985 to her parents Joseph Lee and Rosa Maria A. Ramirez. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rodolfo Aguero; as well as by her paternal grandmother, Antonia Ramirez. Sonia is survived by her parents, Joseph and Rosa Maria Ramirez; sisters, Debra Denise (Mario Alberto) Gomez Jr.; nephew, Mario Alberto Gomez III; maternal grandmother, Angela T. Aguero; and paternal grandfather, Modesto Ramirez. She is also survived by numerous loved uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank the medical staff at Doctors Hospital and ICU, as well as Dr. Luis Benavides for all their kindness and dedication given to our beloved Sonia. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. from the funeral chapel to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Mario Alberto Gomez Jr., Geovanny Ruiz, Rodolfo Aguero Jr., Raul Ramirez, Arturo Aguero, Roberto Aguero, Mario Alberto Gomez III, Oscar Aguero, and Roy Garcia. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
