Simon Gutierrez

Simon Samuel Gutierrez entered the kingdom of heaven on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.-

Simon is preceded in death by his wife, Francisca de la Rosa Gutierrez of Laredo, TX, who passed away August 6, 2010; sister Maria Garza of Indiana, and brothers Juan Gutierrez and Ricardo Gutierrez.

He is survived by his children: Olga (Lewis) Martini of Pennsylvania, Irene (Leo) Sanchez of Chicago, Samuel Simon Gutierrez of Chicago, Armando (Rose Mary) Gutierrez of Chicago and Manuel (Christine) Gutierrez of Chicago as well; sisters, Pauline (""Leonard) Blake of Laredo, TX, Blanca (Arnold) Serna from Arizona; brothers, Jose Refugio (Ernestina) Gutierrez of Chicago and Manuel (Socorro) Gutierrez of Laredo, TX and brother-in-law Roberto Garza of Indiana. Along with 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and other nieces and nephews that will greatly miss him.-

The Gutierrez family would like to thank the American Legion Post 59 and U.S. Army Honor Guard from Fort Sam Houston of San Antonio, TX.
