Santos Salas

Mr. Santos L. Salas, 90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Celedonio and Concepcion Salas, Sr.; brother Nicanor A. Salas; and sisters, Olga M. Salas, and Hilda Salinas.

He is survived by his children, Juana M. (Jose C.) Bermudez, Filiberto Jimenez, Cynthia L. (Ignacio Idrogo) Sauceda, Melissa A. Salas (Albino) Gutierrez, Sylvia G. (Sterling) Salas-Brown; grandchildren, Marielle X. (Jose Romero) Balderas, Luis Balderas III, Jose Cruz Bermudez, Angelina J. Bermudez, Ignacio Idrogo, Jr., Ibram Antonio Idrogo, Ileandro Valentin Idrogo, Ileana I. Idrogo, Edlynne Rodriguez, Iyandel U. Idrogo, Millie A. Gutierrez, Albino Gutierrez III, Isaac O. Brown, Jehmon O. Brown; and 1 great-granddaughter, Emiliana N. Romero. He is also survived by his sisters, Carolina Saavedra, Geraldina Narvaez; brothers, Jose Luis Salas, Celedonio Salas, Jr.; and the mother of his children, Gloria Salas; along with other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez, Laredo, TX 78040; with a Rosary offered in his memory at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart at 8:30 am on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from the funeral chapel to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
