Mrs. Santos Hernandez, 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 02, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pasqual and Sebastiana Trejo; her sister Margarita Trejo, and brother Pedro Trejo.

She is survived by her husband Juan A. Hernandez; children, Francisca (Jesus) De La O, Juan A. (Melissa) Hernandez, Jr., Pedro (Kim) Hernandez, Alma (David) Mendiola; grandchildren, Valerie De La O, Tiffani De La O, Krystal De La O, Karyme Mendiola, Brandon Mendiola, Giancarlo Mendiola, Sebastian Hernandez, Andrew Hernandez, Pete Phillip Hernandez, Anton Hernandez, Derek Hernandez, her great-grandson, Felipe “Tre” Ortega. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 departing the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be: Jesus De La O, David Mendiola, Jr., Pedro Hernandez, Juan A. Hernandez, Jr., Juan A. Hernandez, Pete Philip Hernandez, and Tiffani De La O.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
