SANTIAGO ENRIQUE RENDON OCTOBER 27, 1920 ~ NOVEMBER 11, 2013 Mr. Santiago Enrique Rendon, 93, entered into eternal rest on the evening of the 11th of November 2013 at a local nursing home. He will be truly missed by his family. Mr. Rendon is preceded in death by his spouse: Esperanza Barragan-Rendon, grandson: Fernando Rendon; parents: Santiago and Maria Rendon; brother Eloy Rendon and sister Ernestina Rendon. Santiago is survived by his children: Luis Enrique (Amparo M.) Rendon, Sonia Georgina (Emilio) Garza III, Sergio Gonzalo (Juana S.) Rendon, Patricia (Rogelio) Almanza, Gilda "Gigi" (Florentino) Caballero, Elizabeth (Ernesto) Alvarado; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank his physician: Dr. Luis M. Benavides as well as the nurses and staff at Regent Care Center for their compassion, dedication and support. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request that Masses be said in his memory at the parish of your choice. The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road from 5 to 9 in the evening with a rosary being recited at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 departing at 10:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Juan Ayala officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
