June 24, 1953 – March 20, 2017

San Juana V. Perez, 63, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom to watch over her beloved family from the sky on Monday, March 20, 2017. Her tender, loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded into heaven by her parents, Daniel Viera, Sr. and Virginia Sanchez Viera; grandson, Juan De Leon; and brother, Andres Ramos, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Omar Perez, Sr.; sons and daughters, Omar Perez, Jr.,

David (Esmeralda) Perez, Sylvia (Juan) De Leon, Veronica (Juan E.) Ruiz, Tony (Sonia) Perez, Oscar Perez, Paulino Perez, Juan Carlos Perez, Frank Perez, and Priscilla Perez; loving grandchildren, Kristine N. (Sergio) Reyes, Crystal L. Perez, Omar Perez, III., David Perez, Jr., Christopher D. Perez, Lizette De Leon, Stephany De Leon, Leslie M. De Leon, Juan De Leon, Jr., Kacie De Leon, Alejandro M. Martinez, Briana and Kiana Martinez, Tony J. Perez, Stella G. Perez, Mirella Montemayor, and Juan Carlos Perez Jr.; and by her great-grandson, Taylor N. Reyes. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Maria L. (Leonel) Hernandez of Laredo, Texas, Gilberto Ramos of Laredo, Texas, Juan Viera of Austin, Texas, Rosalinda (Jose Juan) Mendoza of Laredo, Texas, Daniel (Irma) Viera, Jr. of Laredo, Texas, Diana (Rod) Wilkens of Greenwood Village, Colorado, Delia (Marcos) Piña of Laredo, Texas, and David Viera of Laredo, Texas; and brothers and sisters from Houston, Texas, Kelly Almazan, Margarita Paez, Magdalena Salazar, Maria Nela Salazar, Daniel Viera, Jr., and David Viera. She is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, other loved relatives, former co-workers of the Laredo Medical Center, and family friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, March 23, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, March 24, 2017 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
