SAN JUANITA CUELLAR

JULY 7, 1962 – JUNE 22, 2020

San Juanita Cuellar, 57, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom. Juany passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center.

Juany was born in Laredo, Texas on July 7, 1962, daughter to Maurilio and Susana R. Ollervides. She married Ruben Cuellar, Jr. on July 17, 1992, they were happily married for nearly 28 years but part of each other’s lives for over 36 years. She enjoyed being a beautician and became well-known for over 30 years. She was always in search of her next big project. She was a doer and always got things done and accomplished anything she set her mind to. She was an amazing woman, friend, daughter, wife and above all mother. She had 3 beautiful children; Leslie, Emily and Ruben, III whom she adored with all her heart. Juany will forever be remembered for her beautiful strength, courage, determination and radiant selfless loving soul. She always brought everyone together and will be remembered as the most beautiful mother and wife to have ever walked this earth.

She was preceded in death by her father, Maurilio Ollervides, and siblings, Arturo and Irasemy “Emy” Ollervides.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Ruben Cuellar, Jr., children; Leslie, Emily and Ruben, III, also her siblings; Susana Ollervides, Marylou (Bennette) McBride, Claudia (Alex) Ollervides Hernandez, Tanya Ollervides, Maurilio (Josefina) Ollervides, Victor (Irma) Ollervides, Jerry Ollervides, Ruben (Anetta) Ollervides, Sanitago Ollervides including numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, June 26, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. A live feed will be transmitted via Facebook Live for the vigil duration.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning, June 27, 2020 departing at 11:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
