Mr. Ruperto G. De Los Santos, 78, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

Mr. Ruperto G. De Los Santos graduated from Martin High School, class of 1959; “NONE AS FINE AS ’59”.  On August 28, 1960 he married his loving wife of 59 years, Inez J. De Los Santos.

Mr. De Los Santos was employed with TABC, Immigration Naturalization Services, and UISD.  He was also an active member of several organizations which were, Knights of Columbus, LULAC #12. Elk’s Lodge; and was on the Board of Directors for L.I.F.E.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mateo and Rosa De Los Santos; son, David Ruperto De Los Santos, brother, Mateo (Evelina) De Los Santos; sisters, Rosa (Rolando) Carter, Andrea (Armando) Flores, and Aurora (Alejandro) Ramirez.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Inez J. De Los Santos; children, Raul R. (Josefina) De Los Santos, Rebecca De Los Santos, Daniel R. (Sarahi) De Los Santos, Judith (Arturo Villarreal) De Los Santos, Dennis R. (Claudia) De Los Santos; grandchildren, Danielle, Carlos, Rebecca, Stephanie, Arturo, Joshua, Emily, Jade, Naomi, Julie; and great-grandchildren, David, Dylan, and Ethan.  He is also survived by his sister Mary (Ernie) Estrada; and brother Gilberto (Emma) De Los Santos; along with other numerous loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, evening, August 25, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, August 26, 2019 departing at 9:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
