Ruben Cervantes, 75, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

He was a hardworking man that spent most of his career in construction and always provided for his family. His favorite pastime was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fidel and Maria Concepcion Cervantes; his sisters Alicia, Godeleva; and his brother Juventino.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Gloria Hernandez Cervantes, children; Laura Cervantes De Leon, Ricardo Cervantes, Ruben Cervantes Jr., Enrique (Alicia) Cervantes, Arturo (Maria) Cervantes, Eduardo (Vanessa) Cervantes; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is also survived by his siblings, Cruz (Celia) Cervantes, Maria (Sergio) Landeros, and Rosa Elvia Cervantes.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, February 11, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services and Interment will take place in Nuevo, Laredo, Mexico the following day.
