ROSANTINA GONZALEZ

February 25, 1955 – December 26, 2020

Mrs. Rosantina Gonzalez, 65, entered into our Lord's Heavenly Kingdom on Saturday, December 26, 2020, having been surrounded by her loving family. She lived in Laredo for over 45 years, having been retired from her clerical position at a local logistics company.  Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends who will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her father: Ignacio González Navarro.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children,  Jorge Alberto (Lisa Hardy) Gonzalez and Belinda Gonzalez; granddaughter, Haleigh Hardy; mother, Sara Rivera de Gonzalez; siblings,  San Juana (Gilberto) Victoria, Irma (Rodolfo †) Garcia, Olga L. (Jose Antonio) Zavala, Graciela K. (Alejandro) Ramirez, and Sara Alicia Sanchez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to the countless close friends that Rosantina would frequent. Your thoughts, prayers, friendship, and support are greatly appreciated and acknowledged during this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m.on Monday, January 4, 2021 at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. We kindly ask those attending to please meet at the church by 8:15 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will be held at the columbarium of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 1 p.m. Please meet at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m.
