Rosa Guajardo

Rosa Elena Guajardo, our Beautiful Mother, has joined our Dad in heaven on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, surrounded by her loving children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Rosita or "Mama Rosa" as she was often called, was known for her beautiful smile and gentle warmth. We are truly blessed to have had her as our mother. She is forever loved in our hearts and will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Octavio Guajardo; parents, Fidel & Rosa Perez; brothers, Segundo, Fidel, & Juan Perez, and sister, Olga Guerra. She is survived by her loving children, Lety (Carol) Frost, Nelda (Hector) Barrera, Tavo Jr., Juan Manuel (Shelley), and Eddie (Danya) Guajardo; as well as by her most precious grandchildren, whom were her pride and joy, Trey (Jessie), Valerie, Celyna Frost, JD, Brandon Barrera, JR, Jacob, Jessica Guajardo; and her first great grandson, Cannon Austin Frost. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Edna (Rodolfo) Oliveira, Catalina (Reynaldo) Garza, Rogue (Sara ), Dr. Alejandro (Alma), and Humberto (Idalia) Perez. Also surviving her are Amparo (Victor ) Lozano, Enrique (Bertha ) Naranjo, Alfonso (Angeles) and Luis (Laura) Guajardo. In addition numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
