Rolando Rodriguez

Rolando Ernesto Rodriguez, 34, ended his journey on earth to continue his eternal presence in the company of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Rolando was an adventurer at heart, always doing what his mind and heart set him out to do. At an early age, he successfully opened up his own company, R2 Logistics, which he managed until his passing. He was a kindhearted gentleman who loved his family, his work, and his life. He lived life to the fullest until his final days. We remember him and will always hold his memory in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother: Josefa (Alberto) Wise Campos, his aunt: Annette Guerrero and maternal great-grandparents: Juan (Inocente) Martinez and Rodolfo (Concepcion) Alvarez.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents: Ricardo Alberto (Gigi) Rodriguez and Sandra Judith Rodriguez; siblings: Ricardo Evan (Blanca Elaine) Rodriguez and Regina Eliana Rodriguez; step-brothers: Cristian Gallegos and Alexis Gallegos; nephews and nieces: Alejandro Evan Rodriguez, Alessandra Eliana Rodriguez and Aksel Emil Rodriguez; paternal grandparents: Epigmenio (Vilma) Rodriguez and maternal grandparents: Rodolfo (Rosa Maria) Alvarez; aunts and uncles: Rolando (Rebecca) Villarreal, Rudy Alvarez, Danny (Beka) Alvarez, and Richard (Christina) Gonzalez; as well as by his cousins: Johnny Guerrero, Louie Guerrero Mia Villarreal, Madison Villarreal, Olivia Alvarez, Andrea Alvarez, and Daniel Alvarez, and by many friends, coworkers, and those whose lives he touched.

The family will be receiving friends from 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m.

Services will conclude in the chapel. Cremation will be held at a later date.
