ROGELIO (POPO) VELA

Mr. Rogelio (Popo) Vela, 61, entered into the arms of the heavenly father on Thursday, September 08, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Amparo and Eduardo Vela; sisters, Amparo Vela Hernandez, Ana Vela and Diamantina Vela.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Patsy Venegas Vela; children, Rogelio (Elsa) Vela, Jr., Eduardo Vela, Ricardo Vela, Jesse Garcia, Maricella Garcia, Jennifer (Humberto Garcia) Vela Garcia, Melissa Duenes; sister, Gloria Vela Tiscareno; brother, Alfredo Vela, eight wonderful grandchildren and one great grandchild as well and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Cremation services will be conducted at a later date.
