Rogelio Tijerina

Rogelio Tijerina, age 66, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, January 25, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Julia V. Tijerina; and by his brother, Israel Tijerina.

Left behind to cherish his memory are: his wife of 43 years of marriage, Maria Lourdes Martinez; beloved daughters, Ma. Lourdes "Lulu" (Hector) Guerra, Edna (Homero) Cantu, and Anelle (Edgar) Lopez; grandchildren, Ariana, Ellie, and Hector Guerra, Jr., Ximena Cantu, and Edgar C. Lopez; sister, Carmen Tijerina; and brother, Jose G. Tijerina.

Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, January 27, 2016 departing at 8:25 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
