ROEL GABRIEL MURIEL
July 13, 1956 – October 18, 2016

Roel Gabriel Muriel, 60, has gone to be with the Lord.

Roel Gabriel Muriel, born July 13, 1956, entered into eternal rest on October 18, 2016, after a chivalrous battle with the agony of his illness-cancer. Never realizing that this would be his greatest legacy. His loved ones bore witness of his immense valiancy through his silent endurance of the menace cancer can be. Further accentuating his selfless consideration for others so as to not inflict apprehension nor distress on those who loved him. He was an amazing friend and generous with his time in a time of need; a true gentleman and gentle soul. His generosity was further illuminated though his foresight to be an organ donor and ultimately provide the gift of sight through the donation of his corneas.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Pablo and Maria Z. Muriel.

Roel is survived by his brothers and sisters: Joel Daniel (Virginia) Muriel, Noel Ariel (Mari) Muriel, Pablo (Cynthia) Muriel Jr., and Leonel Angel (Monica) Muriel, Monica Mabel (David) Kasprzynski, Veronica Anabel Muriel (Leonard Tamasi), and Paulina Isabel Muriel. He is also survived by his nephews: Daniel Muriel, Michael Kasprzynski, Jordan Kasprzynski, Adrian Muriel, Matthew Muriel, Levi Muriel, Domonic Villalon, nieces: Ariana (Vic) Villalon, Talisa De La Rosa, Brittany Best, Alexandra Muriel, Aubrey Villalon; his aunt, San Juana (Jose +) Costilla, as well as a great number of cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
