ROBERTO J. GARCIA

APRIL 02, 1953 – DECEMBER 26, 2020

Roberto J. Garcia, 67, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, December 26, 2020.

Mr. Roberto J. Garcia served his country proudly in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1972-1982, completing 3 tours of duty and receiving 3 honorable discharges in 1983. In 1986 RJ Garcia became a registered nurse.  RJ dedicated his life in the medical profession as an RN for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Lucrecia Garcia; and his best friend, Roberto Pena.

Left to cherish his memory is his partner of 10 years, Rachel Chandarlis.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday morning, January 07, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 10 a.m. The funeral procession will depart at 11:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
