ROBERTO HERNANDEZ, JR.
FEBRUARY 16, 1974 – NOVEMBER 11, 2020

Roberto Hernandez, Jr., 46, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Roberto was an exemplary father, husband and son. He dedicated 15 years of his life working for Texas A&M International University and recently became employed at the State of Texas Comptroller. His parting leaves an enormous void in our heats.

He was preceded in death by his father; Roberto Hernandez, Sr., and father-in-law; Santiago Ortega.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife; Ana Laura Ortega, daughter; Sophia Alana Hernandez, mother; Amelia (Jesus) Camacho, sister; Veronica (Luis) Villarreal, and nieces; Isabella and Emma Villarreal; as well as mother-in-law; Antonia Ortega, brother-in-law; Raul (Patricia Martinez) Ortega, Sisters-in-law; Griselda (Jesus Perez) Ortega, Maria (Macario Solis) Ortega, nephews; Marcos, Viridiana, Valeria, Melanie, numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, November 15, 2020 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, November 16, 2020 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

A cremation service will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be: Manuel Benavides, Raul Ortega, Macario Solis, Pablo Reyes-Sariñana, Patrick Mendoza, Alfredo Perez, III, Pedro Lopez, Jesus Perez and Matthew Salinas.
