Mr. Roberto H. Haynes passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side.

Roberto was born in Zapata, Texas and served in the United States Navy in World War II, and was a proud veteran. He was a dedicated and caring husband, father and grandfather.-He enjoyed spending time on his ranch with his family up until he became too ill to do so. Roberto will be greatly missed by all those that loved him.

He was proceeded in death by his sons, Benjamin Humberto and Roberto Haynes, Jr.; sister, Maria Luisa Haynes; brother, Jorge B. Haynes; and brother-in law, Romeo J. (Dolores ") Vasquez.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Hilda Laura V. Haynes; daughter, Norma Patricia (Miguel) Guerra; son, Roque H. (Melissa) Haynes; grandchildren, Araceli Carolina Guerra, Alberto Daniel Guerra, Andres Roberto Guerra, Isabella Marie Haynes and Alessandro Cristian Haynes; sister, Consuelo Haynes Novoa; sisters-in-law Olga G. Haynes and Rosa Lydia V. Pena as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to: Vicky, Isabel, Margarita and Maura of Nurses on Wheels, Dr. Jesus Pineda, and Dr. Luis Benavides, Mr. Haynes' caregivers Teresa Marquez and Teresa Perez, as well as the US Navy Flag Detail and American Legion Post 59 Honor Guard for providing Military Honors.

Pallbearers will be: Roque H. Haynes, Jorge B. Haynes, Jr., J.J. Haynes, Miguel "Mike"" Guerra, Alberto Daniel Guerra and Andres Roberto Guerra.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Alessandro Cristian Haynes, Eduardo Ramos and Ignacio Gonzalez.
