ROBERT PADILLA

JANUARY 6, 1956 – JULY 31, 2020

Robert Padilla, more affectionately known as “Bobby”, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 31, 2020 at his home in the presence of his sister and his pets.

Born on January 6, 1956 to his very loving and supportive parents, Maria and Valentin Padilla, he attended Blessed Sacrament School, St. Joseph’s Academy and graduated from St. Augustine High School.  He continued his studies at University of Texas and graduated with a degree in Advertising.  Robert worked in media advertising and sales at several radio and television stations in various cities in Texas including Laredo, San Antonio, Austin, Waco and Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Valentin Padilla and his mother, Maria Paez Padilla.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Adriana Padilla.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, far too many to mention, and his beloved pets, Jack, Abbey, Ashley, Shaggy, and Casey who were always there for him and whom he loved to spend time with.

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 9 am until 12 noon at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez.  A Chapel service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. and will also be available via Facebook live @ https://www.facebook.com/JJFCHeights.INC/

All services will conclude immediately following the service.
