Robert Huron Sr.

On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, God called Robert Milton Huron, Sr. into his heavenly sleep having been surrounded by his loving family.  Robert was born in San Antonio, Texas to Gilbert C. (+) Sr. and Orfelinda Huron.

In 1980, he moved to Laredo where he was employed by Yellow Freight and retired after 30 years of service. Through his employment Robert met his devoted wife, Nora of 39 years and had two children, Robert and Jaclyn. Robert’s pride and joy were his granddaughters which he loved spending family time with. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach with his friends.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife: Nora Huron; daughter: Jaclyn (Samuel) Suarez; sons: Robert (Brenda) Huron and Emett Leyva; granddaughters:  Libenik I. Villarreal, Lexine I. Villarreal, Alondra Huron, LeeAndra D. Suarez, Lendall D. Suarez, and Aurora Huron; siblings:  Gilbert Huron Jr., David (Norma) Huron, Magdaline (Gary) Huron, James (Roxanne) Huron, Adrian Huron, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd. with a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary being recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021 to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.

All services will conclude after the mass to proceed to a cremation at a later date.

Pallbearers will be:  Gilbert C. Huron, Jr., David Huron, James Huron, Adrian Huron, Louie Rogelio, Sam Gonzalez, Armando Laureano, and Robert Huron, Jr.
