Robert Fuentes

Mr. Robert Antonio Fuentes, 51, entered into the Lord’s presence on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at a local hospital.  Robert was born in Laredo, Texas on May 11, 1969 to David and Oralia Fuentes.  He grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and moved back to live in Laredo at age 18, where he remained for the remainder of his life.  Robert worked as a toll collector for the City of Laredo for the past 20 years.  He leaves behind cherished memories with his wife, children, friends and extended relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents:  David and Oralia Fuentes; mother-in-law: Blanca Moreno.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his spouse of 26 years of marriage: Mayra Moreno-Fuentes; children: Estevan Fuentes (Alejandra Niño), Alyssa Fuentes (Genaro Chavez); siblings:  Sylvia (Joe) Arredondo, David (Ruby) Fuentes; father-in-law: Juan Moreno Sr.; brothers and sisters-in-law:  Mirtha Moreno, Juan (Rosalinda) Moreno Jr., Melissa (Adan) Cadena, Mayella (Jose) Gomez, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 4 until 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.  A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 9 a.m., led by Pastor Alfred Addo-Mensah. Procession will form and depart to the Calvary Catholic Cemet ery.

Pallbearers will be: Estevan Fuentes, Marko Antonio Cadena, David Fuentes Jr., Elijah Anthony Fuentes, Benjamin Mercado Jr., Gerardo Luis Arredondo, David J. Arrendondo and Jose Gomez Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Ethan Allen Gomez, Marko Antonio Cadena Jr.
