Richard David Tressler, Sr., 52, entered into eternal rest Monday, March 10, 2014. Richard is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother who raised him, Florencia R. Ojeda, and maternal grandfather, Faustino Ojeda, Sr.; his in-laws: Mr. Andres & Mrs. Francisca Ramirez. He is survived by his loving wife: Linda Tressler; children: Jessica Ivette Tressler, Richard David Tressler, Jr., Steven Evan Tressler; mother: Rosario Ojeda - Martinez; sisters and brothers: Rosa (Juan Felipe) Perez, Sr., Alicia (Arnoldo Rene) Villarreal, Delia Dominguez, Jose Luis (Linda) Flores, Santiago (Sandra) Martinez, Jr., Raul (Rosario) Martinez, Veronica Reyes, Monica (Luis Valdez) Loera; brothers-in-law: Andres Ramirez, Juan Jose (Juanita) Ramirez, Ramon (Victoria) Ramirez; sisters-in-law: Armandina Ramirez, Maria A. Ramirez, and Sylvia R. (Arturo) Jimenez, along with numerous family members and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Miranda, and Dr. Knecht, and to his niece Martha Landeros, R.N. for her caring love during his last days, and to the nursing staff from Doctor's Hospital of Laredo. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014 departing the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Steven Evan Tressler, Jose Luis Flores, Sr., Raul Martinez, Juan Felipe Perez, Jr., Jose Luis Flores, Jr., Richard Flores, Robert Newton, Rolando Alaniz. Honorary Pallbearers are: Richard David Tressler, Jr., Santiago Martinez, Jr., Martin Alaniz, Oscar Martinez, Hector Dominguez, Jr., Oliver Montalvo, and Lorenzo "Chito" Moreno. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
