Mr. Ricardo Muñiz, Sr., 90, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at a local hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Surviving him are his spouse: Emilia Muñiz; children: Ricardo (Cristina) Muñiz Jr., Maria Magdalena (Jose, Sr.) Veliz, Manuel (Maria) Muñiz, Maria de Lourdes (Francisco Javier) Rodriguez Sr., Daniel Francisco (Clara) Muñiz Sr., Juan Antonio (Raquel) Muñiz, Emilia (Daniel) Banda, Maria del Carmen (Michael) Nuñez and Patricia (Tony) Lopez; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.; a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 to Santo Niño Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ricardo Muñiz, Jr., Manuel Muñiz, Jose Veliz, Jr., Juan Manuel Muñiz, Ricardo Muñiz, III, Daniel Francisco Muñiz, Jr., Daniel Francisco Muñiz and Juan Antonio Muñiz
