The Lord Is My Shepherd, Psalm 23.
Ricardo Gonzalez, 45, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2018 in Laredo, TX.
He is preceded in death by his beloved father Pedro Gonzalez, Jr.; grandparents, Pedro & Belia Gonzalez and Celia Espinoza.
Ricky is survived by his loving mother Olga Gonzalez; his sister Connie (Cary) Zipprian; and his brothers, Rene (Rachel) Gonzalez, Alberto (Laura) Gonzalez; nephews, Jonathan, Alberto, Jr., Andrew, Peter and Randy; nieces, Gala (Orlando) Cabrera, Jennifer and Shelby; great nephews and niece, OJ, Angel and Chanel. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, friends, and one special best friend and confident Gloria Arrizola.
Ricky, as he was known by everyone, was a native of Laredo and graduated from Martin High. He was a very active volunteer with Jaime Canales “Team Canales”, Martin Cuellar and CY Benavidez. He was also an active member of Iglesia Cristiana Misericordia. He enjoyed watching and attending all the WWE Wrestling events and really loved his Dallas Cowboys! Ricky was an awesome son, brother, nephew and uncle. He never missed his nephews or nieces sport games, birthdays and graduations, always generous and loving. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family especially his mother! She was the world to Ricky and he did everything for her; nothing was impossible. Ricky also loved spending time with his Tio Poncho and Tia Noemi and all his cousins in Houston. But his most special place to go in Houston was Lakewood Church. He will be greatly missed.
Special Thanks to Jamie Canales “Team Canales”, Sheriff Martin Cuellar, Davita Dialysis and Dr. Ralph Nimcham.
