Ricardo Garcia, 80, passed away on Friday, April 08, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arturo and Hortencia R. Garcia; brother, Arturo Garcia.

Ricardo is survived by his loving wife Lilia V. Garcia; children, Pamela (Steve Merli) Garcia, Patricia Garcia-Parsons, Jim (Jacqueline) Garcia, Ricardo V. (Yolanda) Garcia, Roberto H. (Elizabeth) Garcia; grandchildren, Jared Cure, Jessica Cure, Naomi (Tim) Travis, Brandon Parsons, Savannah Parsons, Cheyenne Garcia, Sierra Garcia, Isabella M. Garcia, Ricardo Garcia III, Andrea M. Garcia, Rodrigo G. Garcia, Zoe A. Garcia-Aguilar; brother, Roberto R. Garcia; sisters, Irene Servin, and Dora Sanchez. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.-

Military honors will be conducted by Fort Sam Houston Casualty Detail and the American Legion Post 59.

The family would like to give a very special thanks to the staff at the Laredo Veteran's Health Care System as well as the Physicians, Nurses and Staff at the Audie Murphy Veteran's Memorial Hospital for their time, dedication, and support during this difficult time.
