(Jesus' words) Matthew 5:4 Mr. Reynaldo Rios, 68, entered the arms of his loving father in heaven on Sunday, June 22, 2014, surrounded by his family. Mr. Rios was a loving and caring man with a great sense of humor. Mr. Rios was an endearing brother and a friend to all. His warm and compassionate demeanor will be missed by all of his loved ones and those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Lazaro Rios Alejandro; and grandparents, Jose Angel and Cleotilde Morales Gonzalez and Lucas and Juanita Rios Alejandro. He is survived by his mother, Esperanza Rios; brothers and sisters, Rodolfo (Norma) Rios of New Braunfels, Hilda (Manuel) Castro of Corpus Christi, Hector (Hortencia) Rios of Laredo, Norma (Enrique) Flores of San Antonio, Imelda (Henry) Cuellar of Laredo and Sergio (Larinda) Rios of San Antonio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Veronica Rios, Rudy Rios, Jr., Manuel Castro, Jr., Omar Castro, Gabriel Castro, Jackie Tobin, Monica Reyna, Michelle Rios, David Rios, Bianca Flores, Enrique Flores, Christina Cuellar, Catherine Cuellar, Emily Rios, and Mateo Rios. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday morning, June 27, 2014 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Rodolfo Rios, Hector Rios, Sergio Rios, David Rios, Rudy Rios, Jr., and Omar Castro. Interment will follow at the family plot in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
