Reynaldo “Nayo” Garcia, Jr., 73, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo T. (Consuelo) Garcia; and parents-in-law, Agustin and Oralia Gallegos, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Oralia Garcia of 48 years of marriage; his children, Miriam (Lizette Castillo) Garcia, Reynaldo (Celicia) Garcia III, Andres Agustin Garcia; grandchildren, Aiden Castillo-Garcia, Aaron Garcia, Isaac Garcia; and sister, Guadalupe G. (Rey) Ayala. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, January 30, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, January 31, 2024 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Agustin Cathedral for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be: Moises Ayala, Jose Luis Castillo, Jr., Jesse Castillo, David Jay Ramirez, Abel Ramirez, Jr., Carlos Blanco, III., Andres Agustin Garcia, and Reynaldo Garcia, III.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rey Ayala, Kevin Morrison, Sr., Agustin Ballesteros, Jose Luis Castillo, Abel Ramirez, Sr., Ricardo Cavazos, Sergio Fernandez, and San Agustin Class of 1969.
