Reyes Texas Jr.

Reyes Medina, Jr., 31, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Severo E. Acosta; and his paternal grandfather Rodolfo Medina, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Diana (Javier V.) Gomez and Reyes (Nora S.) Medina, Sr.; his son Rey Anthony Medina; his sister Cristina Alicia Gomez; maternal grandmother Oralia R. Acosta; and paternal grandmother Eulalia C. Medina. He is further survived by great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 departing the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.

Pallbearers will be: Cristina A. Gomez, Rey Anthony Medina, Javier V. Gomez, Ernesto A. Amaro, Luis A. Acosta, Severo E. Acosta, Jr., Reyes Medina, Sr., Rodolfo Medina, Jr., Gabriela Acosta, and Elsa Acosta.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Jose Luis “Wicho” Garcia, Francisco Medina, Richard Marquez, and Arturo Rodriguez, Jr.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.
