Rebecca Gonzalez-Arroyo

Rebecca Rios Gonzalez-Arroyo, 58, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Laredo, Texas and worked for the City of Laredo in the Engineering Department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Espiridion and Marcela Rios; and by her brothers, Osvaldo and Francisco Rios.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Hector Gonzalez-Arroyo; her daughter Monica (Oscar) Urdiales; her two grandsons, Brandon and Ryan Urdiales. Also surviving her is her sisters and brothers, Julia Vela, Janie Morales, Rosalinda Cruz, Minerva (Alberto) Cortez, Marta Rios, Hector (Belia) Rios, Conrado (Sandy) Rios, Juan Rios, Dr. Arturo Rios, and Socorro (Elias) Garza; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Roberto Cruz Jr., Lawrence Obst, Hector Rios Sr., Alberto Morales II, Hector Rios Jr., Javier Vela Sr., Alberto Cortez Sr., and Javier Vela Jr.
