RAÚL CASSO IV

September 23, 1958 – November 29, 2024

Raúl Casso IV, beloved husband, father and brother, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at the age of 66 in San Antonio, Texas. Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Raúl was a lawyer by profession with forty years of experience. He was a Ragtime piano player, an Alamo historian, a scholar, a philosopher and an avid reader and writer. 

Raúl was preceded in death by his parents Raul Casso III and Eugenia M. Casso. He is survived by his wife, Nahyr Casso, his children, Raul Casso V, Alex Casso (Yuki), Andreas Casso (Gabriella), Philip Casso and Sebastian Casso. He is also survived by his siblings, Eugenia Jaffe (Jeffrey), Roberto Casso, Adriana Casso and Guillermo A. Casso (Yvonne) and his nephews and nieces Jenifer Feigan, Jeffrey Jaffe, Susana Lopez, Victor M. Lopez III, Giana Casso and Sofia Casso. 

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, December 4, 2024 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Children’s Home.
