Raul Aguero

Mr. Raul Agero, 79, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 07, 2013 surrounded by his loving and caring family.-

Mr. Agero was born and raised in Laredo, TX.-He graduated from the Martin High School Class of 1953 after which he joined the Armed Forces, serving in the US Army from 1953 thru 1956.-Upon his return from his service time, he enrolled in college, graduating from East Texas State College in 1960.-He became an educator and taught for 32 years starting at El Paso Public Schools and the Laredo Independent School District, where he retired in 1992.

The family would like to acknowledge his primary care physician, Dr. Ricardo G. Cigarroa as well as his other physicians: Dr. Benson Huang, Dr. Gilberto Garza-Lozano, Dr. Ronald Newton and Dr. Curt Griffis.-We would also like to thank the staff at: Superior Nursing Care, Doctors Hospital of Laredo and Laredo Specialty Hospital.-We cannot forget to gratefully express our most sincere gratitude to his wonderful in-house caretakers: Carmen Z. Zarazua and Rosalinda Riquejo for their loving attention of Raul.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Elena C. Agero; brother, Pedro Agero, Jr.; sisters, Rita A. Moreno, Amelia A. Martin, Lilia Agero and Leonor A. Perez as well as his father and mother-in-law, Martin and Flora G. Benavides.

Raul is survived by his loving spouse of 46 years of marriage, Flora Elia B. Agero; brothers, Arturo Agero, Guillermo Agero, and Enrique (Celia) Agero; sisters, Ofelia A. Alonzo, Carolina A. (Juan) Camacho and Angelina Agero; and brother-in-law: Martin Ral (Marcia) Benavides.-He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
