Mrs. Ramona Morales Ramos, 86, entered into our Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She belonged to the Adoración Nocturna Society. She fervently kept her faith even through her illness and was quick to say, “It was the will of God, we must trust him.” As a woman of devout belief, her faith in the Lord was paramount above all else.
Ramona also had a civil duty to our community to ensure good politicians made it to office. She supported many political races from 1970 onward. Many owe their positions to her and her hard work in the campaign trail.
A person who valued life to its fullest, she had little regrets. She would often recant her days of living through The Great Depression, a time she would use to teach her children the virtue of hard work, dedication, and morals.
She loved her family unconditionally, and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Now, we entrust you to God the most high, may you watch over us and keep us safe. Rest in peace.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Inocente and Gabriela Morales and son: Jose Antonio Zepeda.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Miguel Gerardo Zepeda, Patricia de la Cruz, Sandra (Curtis) Burton, Carlos Alberto Zepeda, Fernando Adonis Ramos, Romance Elizabeth Ramos, Victor Apollo (Dyna) Ramos, Anthony Duane Ramos; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa, Family Nurse Practitioner Jamie, and all the staff in the fifth floor of Laredo Medical Center, for all their attention, care, compassion and support to Ramona and her family.
