RAMON MENDIOLA July 05, 1939 - November 23, 2014 Mr. Ramon Mendiola passed away to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the age of 75. Ramon was happiest when he spent time with his family. He loved to unite the entire family at the ranch. He was a lover of nature, passionate about animals, enjoyed the company of his family and friends, and was a nurturer of the human soul with his contagious smile and positive view of life. As a great friend, he was quick to lend a hand to anybody needing his assistance. He will always be remembered by his everlasting smile and gentle soul. His six children all follow in his footsteps by being involved parents and always loving to their families. His grandchildren are all blessed to have spent such a happy quality time with him. Being with Grandpa Ramon was all about love, laughter, fun, and learning new things at Grandpa's favorite place: his ranch. He equally loved his sons and daughters in law, always fair, helpful, and most importantly loving. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Isabel Mendiola; his parents, Ramon and Fela Mendiola; brother, Efrain Mendiola; and his granddaughter, Isabelita Mendiola. He is survived by his six children, Maria Isabel (Javier) Alarcon, Claudia Patricia (Martin) Martinez, Ramon (Alma) Mendiola III, Jorge (Patricia) Mendiola, Juan Carlos (Jessica) Mendiola, Luis Miguel (Cindy) Mendiola; siblings, Blanca Garcia, Leocadia Perez, Mirtha Mendiola, Miguel Mendiola, Laura Gonzalez, Pablo Mendiola, Isela Gutierrez, Martha Leticia Resendez, Sergio Mendiola, Mario Mendiola, and Angelica Mendiola. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, numerous other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, November 26, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. departing from the funeral home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Interment will follow the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
