Mr. Ramiro Filemon Ortiz-Malacara, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at his residence.

Preceding him in death is his mother: Elena Malacara.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving spouse of 32 years of marriage: Rosalinda Ortiz-Flores; children: Ramiro F. Ortiz Jr. (Irma), Elena Ortiz-Torres (Leonardo), Linda Esmeralda Gomez (John), Valerie Marlene Ortiz (Armando Tellez) and Alyssa Eileen Ortiz; grandchildren: Jacob Ortiz, Genesis Cortez, Rigo Ortiz, Gia Cortez, Lindsey Gomez, Gizelle Cortez, Angelina Torres, Khloe Torres, Laylani Gomez, and soon to be born Regina Tellez. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters: Irma Cardenas (Mike), Rolando Ortiz, Ricardo Ortiz (Rosa), Jorge Ortiz (Yolanda), Jose Ortiz (Dora), Maria Elena Sanchez, Blanca Salinas (Rene), and Olga Brown as well as countless nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m., officiated by Pastor Sam Lopez.

A Chapel service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with departure immediately following the service to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery for the interment.

Pallbearers will be: John Gomez, Armando Tellez, Ramiro F. Ortiz, Jr., Reynaldo Bernal, Tru Amas, Norberto Ortiz, Jacob Ortiz, and Rigo Ortiz.
