Rafael Lozano

Rafael Lozano, Jr., 84, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Rafael is preceded in death by his parents: Rafael Lozano, Sr. and Esther Torres. He is survived by his children: David (Martha) Lozano, Rosalinda (Jose) Arce, Laura (Armando) Garza, Rafael (Maria Juanita) Lozano, III; grandchildren: Melissa Y. Cortez, David Lozano, Jr., Claudia Y. Flores, Fernando Martinez, Javier Lozano, Jr., Monica Johnson, Lorraine Lozano, Clarissa Lozano, Esmeralda Martinez, Randy Lozano, Richard S. Martinez, Leslie Hinojosa, Abigail Lozano, Rafael E. Lozano, Sofia E. Lozano; brothers and sisters: Beda Lozano, Dora Ruiz, Maria Esther Bernal, Fernando Torres, Ana L. Galarza, and Nora L. Michaels. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to his granddaughter: Esmeralda Martinez, and grandson: Randy Lozano for their extra care and helping hand with Claudia Espinoza, his caretaker. Also special thanks to Dr. J. R. Garcia, and Dr. Eduardo Miranda for their excellent care. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 departing at 8 am from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
