Petra Mercado

Petra "Pat" Mercado, joined our Lord in his Heavenly Kingdom Sunday, August 26, 2012.-Miss Mercado was a beautiful, caring, and loving person who journeyed through life with great optimism.-

She worked at Richter's Department store for many years and then at Polly Adams.-She loved cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, and had a love for fashion.-"Tia" as we all knew and called her, loved spending time with her family and close friends.-Tia will be great missed by all to whom she gave her unconditional love and support.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Francisco and Petra Mercado; sister: Rita M. (Lorenzo) Rodriguez, and her nephew: Richard L. Rodriguez.

She is survived by her brother: Jose Francisco (Francis) Mercado; nephews and nieces: Jose Francisco (Leila) Mercado, Jr., Ana (Steve) Sicola, Ross, and Kyle Sicola, Nancy P. (Gene) Granado, Jessica (David) Saldivar, Samantha Saldivar, Lena Rodriguez, Emelee A. Fonseca, and her long time friends Roberto (Sara) Martinez and their loving family.

The Mercado family wished to express infinite gratitude to Roberto and Sara Martinez and family.-Thank you for all your years of help and compassion.
