PETER ARGUINDEGUI JR. September 12, 1931 - August 3, 2014 Peter R. ("Pete") Arguindegui Jr., 82, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 3, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Martha Leyendecker Arguindegui; as well as his children, Peter (Amelie) Arguindegui, Maria Teresa Arguindegui (Craig Keener), Maria Estela (Steven) Arguindegui-Johnston, Alfonso (Alejandra) Arguindegui, and Ethel Maria Arguindegui (Luis Tomas Guerra); his brother, Carlos H. Arguindegui and his sister, Maria Teresa Arguindegui Regnier. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, Amelie Arguindegui, Pedro Ramon Arguindegui, Maximiliano Arguindegui, Alfonso Illan Arguindegui, Alejandro Diego Arguindegui, AnaSofia Arguindegui, and Carlos Antonio Johnston. He is further survived many loving nephews and nieces. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Family respectfully requests all attending to meet at church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Sacred Heart Children's Home, 3310 S. Zapata Hwy., Laredo, Texas 78046 or to Mission San Carlos, HWY 359, Laredo, Texas 78043.
