Pedro Texas

Mr. Pedro Sylvestre Lira, 70, entered into the loving arms of the heavenly father on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his residence in Mirando City, Texas.

Pedro is preceded in death by his parents: Sylvestre and Guadalupe Lira, and brothers Servando Lira and Alberto L. Lira and sister in law, Sara Lira.

He is survived by his loving wife: San Juana Lira; children: Leonel Pedro (Linda) Lira, Lauro Jaime Lira and Roberto Adan (Guadalupe) Lira; grandchildren: Leonel Jr., Samantha, Sabrina, Justice, Robert and Ryan Lira. He is further survived by his siblings: Silvestre J. Lira, Gloria (Ruben) Ramon, Javier (Paula) Lira, Alicia (Pedro) Villarreal, Raquel (Oscar) Reyna, Gilda (Jose) Medina; sister in law Rosita V. Martinez as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 departing the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mirando City, Texas for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City.

Pallbearers will be: Leonel Pedro Lira, Lauro Jaime Lira, Roberto Adan Lira, Robert Lira, Ryan Lira, Leonel Lira Jr., Mark Lira, Ruben Ramon, Jr., Javier Lira Jr., Pedro Villarreal, Jr., Oscar Reyna, Sylvestre Lira, Jodan Medina, Patricio Luera, Pablo Perez, Jr., Seth Moran, Paul Leal, Mario Benavidez, Gabriel Esquivel, Gerardo Perez and Jose Manuel Perez, Jr.
