PATRICIA OCHOA HERNANDEZ

Your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Patricia "Pat" O. Hernandez passed away in the company of her devoted and loving husband and family at her home in Fulshear, Texas on January 29, 2016 at the age of 65. All who loved her and were blessed to call her wife, daughter, sister, aunt, or friend, knew her to be strong of spirit, always hopeful, and generous of self. She took great joy in the happiness of others and at every opportunity did not hesitate to make sure that those individuals closest to her knew they were loved. Her kindness and generosity extended beyond her circle of family and friends to those individuals who crossed her path and were in need of a helping hand.

Patricia was born in Laredo, Texas. She attended local schools and graduated from Martin High School where she met the love of her life and future husband, Hector M. Hernandez. She lived a full and happy life because she loved and was loved .

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Matilde Ochoa, and her parents in law, Jesus E. and Ninfa B. Hernandez.

Mourning her loss is her husband of 43 years, Hector M. Hernandez; her brother, David (Delia) Ochoa Jr.; brothers and sisters in law, Grace (Robert) Mirabal, Jesse (Zulema) Hernandez, Cynthia (Juan) Collazo, Dr. Carlos (Tammie) Hernandez; beloved nieces, Christine Bernal, Patty Ochoa, Melina Bermudez, Larcy Brayfield, Cynthia Ochoa, and other nieces & nephews whom she treated as if her own, and many friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 starting at 11:00 am with a Rosary at 12:00 noon at Joe Jackson Funeral Chapel North; 1410 Jacaman Rd. The funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 12:45 p.m., culminating with interment at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
