Pablo Valdez

Pablo Valdez, 90 joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, March 08, 2013. Pablo served with the United States Army during WWII, received a Purple Heart Medal for his valiance, and was honorably discharged on October 26, 1945. He was a member of the American Legion Post 59. Pablo was owner/manager of the Jitney Jungle Supermarket until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Socorro Valdez and by his sisters, Rebecca Cantu, Maria de Jesus Valdez and Dolores Garcia.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Berta R. Valdez; sisters, Josefina Hernandez and Concepcion (William) Clark; and brother-in-law, Matias Ramos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Eduardo Ramos, Javier Ramos, Richard M. Miller, James M. Miller, Phillip W. Miller, Guillermo Farias, Jr., Edwin T. McQuiston and Edwin T. McQuiston, III.
