Pablo Saldana Jr.

Pablo Saldana, Jr., 59, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 27, 2011.-He passed away at his residence in Laredo, Texas.-Pablo was born on December 3, 1951 in Laredo, Texas.

Pablo was a very loving father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and most importantly, grandfather.-He courageously fought against his illness for many years, an illness that also took the life of his father, Pablo Saldana, Sr., so that he could get the opportunity to meet and hold his first granddaughter, Andrea Alejandra.-He was blessed by our Heavenly Father with four additional grandchildren, Javier, Pablo Andres, Diego Alejandro, and Anaclaudia.-He felt at peace with his grandchildren around him.-They were his inspiration, they willed him to live as long as he did.

Pablo lived his life with a passion that never faltered.-He loved the outdoors.-He enjoyed the good-humored friendship of his neighbors, family and friends.-His love and care for others was one of a kind.-His smile warmed the hearts of many and, as a result, he was loved by many.

We will never forget his tall tales.-It was one of his many ways to make us smile and laugh.-That's what he did for us.-He reminded us all that life was a beauty for us to cherish.

Thank you for everything that you did and did not do.-You were truly a blessing.

We love you.

Pablo was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Saldana, Sr., grandfather Inocencio Saldana, and father-in-law Ramiro Ramirez, Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Saldana; children, Javier (Claudia) Saldana, Pablo (Michelle) Saldana III; mother, Victoria Cruz Saldana; mother-in-law, Felicidad Ramirez; brothers and sisters, Laura (Juan) Saenz, Roberto (Sara) Saldana, Alicia (Joe Benavides) Saldana, Alonso Saldana and Juan (Leticia) Saldana; grandchildren, Andrea Alejandra Saldana, Javier Saldana, Jr., Anaclaudia Saldana, Pablo Andres Saldana, and Diego Alejandro Saldana.-He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
